Heart Attack Disability Lawsuit Filed

     The United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission recently filed a lawsuit alleging that a group of energy, drilling, and management companies discriminated against an employee after he had a heart attack and was forced to take disability leave.  The lawsuit alleges that an employee had a heart attack while working on a drilling rig.  The heart attack forced the employee to take short-term disability leave, and he was then terminated immediately upon receiving a release to return to work.  Such alleged actions are a violation the Americans with Disabilities Act.  See EEOC v.
